Mr. Amarendra Mohapatra, a student of School of Film and Media Science (SFMS) has received a rare honor in an International Film Festival at USA held recently. The short Film “ABARJANA” competed with 13868 films from 120 countries to receive ‘Hounourable Mention’ in the “2023 STUDENT WORLD IMPACT FILM FESTIVAL”. The school is celebrating the student achievement and thankful for their socio corporal responsibility, as the film deals with maintaining city cleanliness. The faculties of the school and co-ordinator Prof Ganeswara Mohapatra are one in praise of this artistic and successful endeavour. This speaks highly of the Academic support and preparedness which the students at SFMS are exposed to and capable of. The School remembers the words of encouragement and guidance from its lovable Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta who has always stood for good CINEMA from its Inception.

Professor Mohapatra also expressed his gratitude to the ViceChancellor Prof Sasmita Samanta, Registrar Prof J.R. Mohanty, Srfti Director Prof. Himansu S. Khatua for able guidance and continuous Patronage.
